1. Hydrate – Drink loads of water to hydrate your body from the inside because that can reflect on your skin.

2.Cleanse– switch up your cleanser by using a hydrating Cleanser or simply by adding a moisturising makeup remover to your routine such as coconut oil or just Vaseline, Garnier also has a moisturizing micellar water which doesn’t leave your skin mad dry.

3.Exfoliate–  your face, lips and the rest of your body. Use a gentle exfoliant on your face to remove any dead skin so that your moisturiser works better and your makeup can go on smoother and not crack. Use a brush or gloves to exfoliate the rest of your body. A toothbrush for your lips (be gentle with this).

4.Moisturise –  sunscreen is key even in winter so don’t skip it . Avoid vanishing, matte or oil blocking creams. Add oils to your night routine for extra moisture, coconut oil, shea butter or glycerine etc. (go with preference and what’s accessible to you)

5.TLC on your hands and lips – its very easy to neglect these areas but trust me there’s nothing more annoying than brittle nails, crusty hands and peeling cuticles so  always keep a thick hand moisturiser in your bag and make sure to get it on your nails/cuticles every time after washing your hands.
