  1. The reason as to why I love makeup is simply because, I feel its a form of art and allows you to be anything you want to be, you could be goth one day, and an airy princess the next day, and a chance to learn and sharpen my skills would not only be good for me but would kick start my career in being a make up guru.

I go beyond liking makeup,i Love Love Love makeup. As a makeup artist i get to express my art through makeup;the different colors of the eyeshadow, the lipsticks, pencils, how amazing can that be through makeup! I love makeup because it gives me a chance to make transformation on clients and create diverse looks for different occasions. For me,it’s a makeup affair that i will always cherish.

Whilst many people feel that make up is worn to hide ” the real person” I feel that make up, just as fashion, is an amazing art in and of itself that tells a memorable story about different cultures, societies and time periods. An art that takes disciplined skilled professionals who indeed in Kenya should be recognized as creative artists! Good products encourage our Kenyan make up artists to discover new gound…new approaches….and new opportunities in the world of art. Isn’t art a beautiful thing!

To most ladies, myself included, make up is an art and a form of self expression. In the same way an artist would express what they’re thinking and what they’re feeling on a canvas is the same way we express ourselves through makeup application.Personally I’m able to achieve a clearer complexion as I’m able to mask the problematic areas on my face such as my forehead and cheeks with the use of the right products. The experience would be amazing as I’d enhance my makeup skills which would be useful in my day to day life and modelling career.

The face is a beautiful canvas that I enjoy to apply make-up on. But one has to be careful about what you apply on that beautiful canvas. Sticking to products that are kind to the face is everything. So I don’t just love make-up….I love good make-up. I love every transformation of a made-up face….which translates to lifted spirits, moods, self esteem and confidence. Such a joy make-up you are!

For myself, doing make up is like breathing, It’s a part of Me I cannot do without. every time I see a beautiful lady on the street, I stare at her face, just imagining What a perfect pallet her face would be. Doing make up is therapeutic and it brings out my creative side. I’ve always wanted to be a professional make up artist, knowing that there aren’t many of them in Kenya. I want to be nothing short of the best, and I feel that I can soar in this make up industry for it is my desire, to own my make up line in the Next 6 years…. and so this is the perfect opportunity for me. i believe in always creating a better world, and i know that through Tara International, I’ll be able to achieve my dream of improving and uplifting the make up world in Kenya and beyond.

Make up is the only means I can truly express myself. It is an art, I believe make-up exists to enhance and not modify ourselves thus I love contemporary/natural make up tones and looks that accentuate and compliment
I mentor girls and give lots of talks on talks on self confidence and self love. I have found that basic make up tricks, choosing of color/shade palettes and identifying new and different looks for them- generally helping women of all colors and sizes discover that they can be, look and feel great through the art of make up is an honor therefore this would be a blessing to so many lives I still have to touch 🙂
Please help me better so many lives- I NEED THIS!
