Mbiu Nation: Village Initiation Vendor Application Form

The Mbiu Nation Event Marketplace features businesses curated to offer a wide variety of one-of-a-kind products. Space is limited and applicants are NOT always guaranteed acceptance.

The Mbiu Nation Event is tailored to cater to a mid – upper class demographic looking for a tasteful and well curated village shopping/entertainment experience. It will be on 21st March 2020

The Mbiu Nation Event team is open to and welcomes discussions around collaborative work for the vendor spaces (Ideally share any suggestions more than 7 days to the event).

The Mbiu Nation Event offers 1 chair ,tent and 1 trading table.

Additional tables, chairs, vending space and power may not be guaranteed but might be availed for an additional charge. If you are accepted and require any of these additional items, kindly mention it upon acceptance.

Selected Vendors will be required to complete and submit all paperwork and payments to confirm their booth or the reservation may need to be cancelled in order to book another vendor. Follow the instructions outlined if accepted to ensure your reservation is secured.

Once accepted, new vendors should receive a copy of the vendor agreement which includes the rules and regulations and how to make payments. Kindly request to have these shared in the event that you do not receive a copy.

Do note that vendors are expected to be setup by 11am when the event begins. Lateness may result in a forfeiture of payment or the imposition of a temporary ban. Afrikan Mbiu shall issue no refunds: non attendance shall result in forfeiture of payment – where proper notice is given, payments shall be forwarded to the next edition. If not accepted, a response is not guaranteed.

Payment Options: You will be required to pay a deposit of 50% to reserve your spot deadline for reservation is 29th February 2020 . The rest of the payment should be paid by the 14th March 2020.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR STANDARD EVENT RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE APPLICABLE AND WILL BECOME BINDING ON YOU, FOLLOWING APPROVAL OF YOUR APPLICATION. THESE WILL BE SUPPLIED TO YOU AS PART OF THE NEXT PHASE OF APPLICATION.

Selection process


Because we receive many more applications than the venue can accommodate, we cannot accept every artist who. After the deadline, the applications are reviewed. Status notifications will be sent via email

Participating vendors are chosen according to how well their work fits into the scope of the Market, how well the business and products are represented in the application, how many in their category are accepted, and the quality and originality of the products.
